Fotospeed FC50 is a liquid film cleaner suitable for all photographic emulsions. It will remove greasy finger marks leaving the film free of dust and less likely to attract dust particles later. Apply with a soft cloth and allow to dry for 30 seconds.
Fotospeed FR10 is a silver reducer supplied as powder. Although traditionally used for B&W negatives, it can also be used for reducing the density of B&W prints or any material where silver is the base. Hypo crystals are supplied in the kit for the refixing of the image after reduction.
Will intensify thin B&W negatives. The negative is bleached back in diluted CI10 then redeveloped in PRINT developer. The image will return stronger. The process can be repeated a few times to maximise intensification. No need to refix - just wash thoroughly.Working solution can be kept for further use.
To ensure archival washing of fibre prints all fixer particles must be removed. This simple tester will show if there is residual fixer in the printer. If fixer is still active then simply return the print to the wash until it is all removed.
Black HDPE bottles with cap - Will keep light safe all photographic chemicals. Bottles can be squeezed to remove air before capping. Easy to clean for re-use (unlike concertina bottles where chemical residue can be trapped in the folds of the bottles which may spoil solutions) ALTERNATIVE SIZES listed below.
