Jo Bradford

Jo Bradford is proof that there is a place for photos taken with a mobile phone within the photographic community. Her project ‘ A Love Letter to Dartmoor in 365 photographers’ gained her over 50 thousand followers on Social Media and has lead to her presenting her experience to huge audiences at The Photography Show 2016. All of the photos were taken using her iPhone and are now being exhibited at the Princetown Visitor Centre, Dartmoor.

Born in Hertfordshire, England, Jo was raised on the Wild Coast in South Africa. Two-time Arts Council England award winner and Fenton Arts Trust Grant recipient, Jo received her Masters Degree (with Distinction) in Photography from University College Falmouth in 2004. She was the Artist In Residence at Plymouth College of Art in 2010.  Since her first show in 2000, Jo’s work has been regularly exhibited and sold internationally in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong amongst others. Exhibition venues include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Center for Fine Art Photography in Colorado and the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.

As a Getty Images Contributor, Jo has licensed work to many clients including American Express, Disney, Oprah.com, M&C Saatchi, MTV New York, Google, AOL, Hello Magazine, Microsoft, Channel Four TV, Zara, Samsung, Conde Nast France and Random House to name but a few.

Further Jo Bradford dates to be confirmed - read on for further details about the course.
