NEW Platinum Cotton 305 in collaboration with Joe Cornish
Developed in partnership with leading landscape photographer Joe Cornish, the latest addition to the Fotospeed range, Platinum Cotton 305, offers incredible archival quality. Platinum Cotton 305 is 100% cotton, acid & OBA free fine art paper with a smooth natural white surface, and the latest coating technologies to achieve a wide colour gamut and pin sharp detail. It is set to be the first of several new additions to the Fotospeed range this year.
Speaking about the new paper, Joe Cornish said, "The current Gold Standard for any photographer aiming to make stable, archival and natural-looking prints is a paper that is OBA-free. While OBAs help papers appear beautifully bright, and are common in the majority of commercially-available materials, there are a few question marks over their long-term stability. So, I was excited when Fotospeed asked me to work with them on Platinum Cotton 305. Having made a small number of test prints, I was so impressed that I plunged in and printed an exhibition of new work for my gallery in November…the quality surpassed my expectations.”
Toby Herlinger, Sales & Marketing Director at Fotospeed, added, “Joe was looking for the ultimate archival paper and so we have worked closely with him in developing Platinum Cotton 305, which has no OBAs. We’re particularly proud to present this paper, as working with Joe has helped us to develop our range and push for the best archival quality we can produce.” Platinum Cotton will be available on the Fotospeed website ahead of The Photography Show 2018.
